Impressive Credentials:

His commitment to teaching and contributing to the field of orthopedics led him to a role as an Assistant and Associate Professor of Orthopedics at PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESIMSR). During his time there, he played a pivotal role in the care and treatment of a substantial number of trauma patients, all within a teaching environment.

- Dr. Mohan K P graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 2001 and earned his MS Orthopedics at Madras Medical College. He excelled, securing two gold medals and topping the state of Tamil Nadu.

- He served as an Assistant and Associate Professor of Orthopedics at PESIMSR, where he oversaw numerous trauma patients in a teaching environment for four years.

- He then ventured to the United States for advanced surgical training under the mentorship of Dr. Kenneth Krackow, a pioneer in Un-cemented Total Knee Arthroplasty.

- Dr. Mohan K Puttaswamy was chosen by the prestigious Harvard University for a Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at Massachusetts General Hospital, the birthplace of modern Anesthesia.

Extensive Experience:

With over a decade of experience in orthopedics, Dr. Mohan K Puttaswamy has performed close to 1000 joint replacement surgeries. These include primary procedures as well as complex revision replacements of hip and knee joints. His expertise also extends to Joint Preservation surgeries, particularly for patients in the early stages of arthritis who may not be immediate candidates for hip and knee replacement.
